Robotic Bending Cell Used In Switchgear Manufacturing
In November 2014, the customer placed an order for 12 DERATECH shearing machines.
By the end of 2021, the customer's company underwent a comprehensive upgrade in industrial automation. We customized three sets of specialized robotic bending cells for the high and low voltage switchgear industry, which were officially put into operation in April 2022.
Customer's Requirements
The customer had a requirement to process a large number of workpieces and sought to achieve automated bending to enhance processing efficiency. After careful analysis, we identified that the operations would be conducted using three bending machines with capacities of 70T, 130T, and 250T respectively. These machines were capable of sorting and bending 250 workpieces. To further automate the bending process for the majority of workpieces, we integrated ESTUN dedicated bending robots and relevant automated auxiliary equipment. This comprehensive solution was specifically designed to cater to the efficient and dynamic execution of the electrical cabinet industry.
Results
The three sets of robotic bending cells, which were ordered by the customer, have been successfully deployed for official production. The feedback from the customer has been overwhelmingly positive, as the cells have not only achieved efficient bending processes but also significantly improved overall productivity.
